EYELINER PREPARATION & AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

EYELINER AFTERCARE

DAYS 1 – 10:

Gently wash your eye area using the provided gentle cleanser every morning and night.

AVOID FOR 1 WEEK:

• Getting your eyes wet outside of the instructed cleansing times. This includes: swimming, baths, saunas, steam, and excess sweating etc.
• Eye makeup products, oils, and skincare products on or around your eyes.
• Facials or other skin treatments.
• Tanning and direct sunlight.
• Wearing contacts if possible.

AVOID FOR 6 WEEKS:

• Lash serums
• Lash extensions
• Lash lifts & tints

WHAT TO EXPECT

It will take about 5-7 days for your eyeliner to completely heal.

DAYS 1-2:

Your eyelid may be swollen for the first 12-24 hours. This is normal, however, mild swelling or soreness will go away. Use eye drops if your eyes are itchy or dry.

DAYS 3-4:

You may experience mild flaking. Do not pick at the skin or any flaky areas. You may use a rice grain amount of healing ointment after cleansing and drying your eyelids.

DAYS 4-7:

Your healing is almost complete, but your eyeliner is not! Color fluctuations are also normal. It will take a minimum of 30 days for the eyeliner color to fully stabilize.You may notice small things you wish to adjust such as, making your eyeliner a little darker, thicker or touching up spots that have faded. No need to worry, that's exactly what your 6 - 8 week perfecting appointment is for.
